Great software I am a noob at web designs and this software was a breeze to use.

I am Happy As the Co-ordinator of a website run by some teachers with no funding, I am not in a position to buy a program like your's. We are very happy using the free version and I hope we will be able to make good use of your other free services. I needed to add some upward scrolling texts to our index page. Does What It Says On The Tin I was looking for something to use in my karaoke show as a way to call my next singer. Having seen at a number of options on the net, I found this little gem. It takes its info to display from a simple text file, and you can instruct it to read from the beginning or end of the file. There is variable speed control, text formatting (as per windows), the file itself is only a small download and the display can be moved anywhere on your screen. I would have liked to have seen an option to add spaces ...

Pretty cool! I like what Text Ticker does but I feel like it is a little over-priced. I use it for a form of positive reinforcment behavior modification. By using it to scroll comments of positive reinforcement, I believe it will draw positive energy into my life.

scrolling text software I was unable to adjust the width of my text to be displayed. The display area was adjustable, but not the text which would show. Didn't spend a lot of time working on it. I tend to assume that any software I need to spend money on should be very easy to use and have documentation in english which is understandable. Also, found the pop up reminder to register/download the software I was already trying out!?! very annoying.

I'm a bit of a novice and I couldn't understand how to create the menu, so am using the CS3 standard one.

Not for VS2005 (?) I use VB 2005. Unfortunately ScrollerII has been written in VB6. After the conversion the compiler still found 2 problems. One of them I couldn't solve by myself (X2 member). Download and install went fine. However, changing parameters (like font weight, size etc) did not seem to make any difference - at least in Firefox 3. I finally did it by using html tags in the actual text of the script.The real problem, though is that the scroll speeds are wildly different between Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox 3. Did you ever test this software with different browsers?

Almost Great The one feature I needed was a right to left scrolling text. I was able to edit the files with some effort to achieve this, but it would be very helpful if the option was available.

Where is the browser scrollbar stickiness? I have a client who wants the scroller text to function just like a mini windows window. There has to be mid-roller stickiness. I need to be able to have a choice between automatic, manual or intermittent choice to handle the text or what ever in the scroller text box.The pros about this applet is that I don't have to do the programming for such a simple thing.
